Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ReliefPing, provided by Glazer Dynamics Pty Ltd, ACN 699 791 609, ABN 71 699 791 609, handles information for teachers, schools and platform administrators.

Information we handle

Accounts: Email address, first and last name, optional mobile number, account role and status, authentication identifiers and security records.

Teachers: Approximate area and coordinates, travel radius, teaching levels and subjects, weekday availability, mandatory-reporting completion status, request responses and confirmed bookings. Coordinates are used for matching and are not shown to school users.

Schools and requests: School name, address, approximate coordinates, staff membership, request dates and times, teaching level, subject, short notes, responses and selected teacher. Do not enter student names, health, behaviour or other student information in notes.

Notifications and devices: In-app notifications, push subscriptions or provider tokens, platform, app version, delivery results and mobile sessions. Ordinary server logs may include IP address, timestamps, user agent and security events.

Billing: School plan, status, billing email and provider identifiers. A payment provider may process full payment details; ReliefPing does not store full card details.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, match eligible teachers by availability, level, subject and travel distance, manage requests and bookings, send notifications, administer schools and subscriptions, support users, secure the service and meet legal obligations.

Storage and providers

Operational records are stored in AWS DynamoDB. AWS Cognito handles passwords, invitations, verification and password resets; ReliefPing does not store or verify passwords. AWS hosting and push-notification providers process information needed to operate those services. Information may be processed where providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

Sharing

Information is shown only as needed for the user's role and a request. Eligible teachers see relevant school requests. School users see responses and booking information. Administrators can manage accounts, schools, service status and billing. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Retention, access and deletion

We retain information while an account is active and as needed to provide and secure ReliefPing. Users can request access, correction or account deletion. Deletion removes the account and associated operational records, subject to limited retention required for security, legal obligations, disputes, financial records and normal backup lifecycles.

Security

Web sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies. Mobile access uses short-lived access tokens and rotating, revocable refresh tokens. Protected actions apply server-side role and ownership checks. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children and changes

ReliefPing is a professional service for school staff and teachers, not a service for students or children. We may update this policy and will revise the effective date.
